Last reviewed 11 October 2026

Juvenile Card (JV) is an identity card with a photograph for children under the age of 18. It is different from the Child Registration Certificate (CRC or B-Form), which is a registration document without a photograph.

Who can apply

Pakistani citizens under the age of 18 who are already registered with NADRA through a CRC.

What you will need

  • the child's CRC (B-Form)
  • a parent or legal guardian with a valid CNIC or NICOP

How to apply

Visit a NADRA Registration Centre (NRC) with the child. The child's photograph, fingerprints and iris scan are recorded at the centre, and a parent or guardian needs to be present to verify their identity.

When the child turns 18, they can apply for their first National Identity Card (CNIC).
